Of late, the popularity of 3D movies has become incredibly higher. 3D movies have become a rage among the younger audiences. Not only in theatres, but people are demanding more and more 3D viewing experiences through home television screens. This factor has resulted in the arrival of 3d television sets in the market. Samsung, LG, Panasonic, and Toshiba are notable manufacturers for 3d television in the market. In fact, Toshiba even promises to launch glasses-free 3d television sets by the end of 2015. Presently, the LG cinema 3D is the best television available in the market. In the world of 3d LCD television, this product in itself is a revelation.

It was during the mid 20th century when three dimensional movies started hitting the silver screen. The 3d concept became immensely popular. Special glasses started getting sold for viewing these kinds of cinemas. However, the concept dried out during the 1970s. With television sets making an entry into the market, movies started to get prepared without 3d effects. Technological advancement was not there to develop the three dimensional television sets for home viewing purpose. Moreover, the high quality glasses that we use these days for watching 3d movies were not present during those times. In fact, CRT based television sets are inappropriate for watching 3d images. The exact effect will not be experienced due to the presence of cathode ray tubes.

When lcd television first hit the market, it became an instant hit. The slim and light weight factor along with flat design made them the most popular television sets in market. It also became easier for manufacturers to include 3d technology on liquid crystal displaying process. When 3d TVs first launched into the market, the effect can be experienced only while sitting in a specific position without any head movement. However, with LG cinema 3D, such irritating factors have simply gone missing.
